Troubleshooting Safari

Experiencing trust issues with certificates when using Requestly for intercepting Safari traffic or setting it as a system-wide proxy? This might be due to the invalidation of Requestly's Root Certificate.

Error Indication: An error message will appear in your browser when it's traffic is intercepted by Requestly:

 

Solution Steps:

  1. Access Settings in Requestly:

      • Open the Requestly desktop application.

      • Click on the Settings Icon located at the top right.

       

  1. Regenerate SSL Certificates:

      • Inside the Settings, find and click the Regenerate button.

      • This action regenerates the SSL certificates.

  1. Restart and Verify:

      • The application will automatically close to complete the regeneration process.

      • Relaunch the app and start intercepting traffic again. The previously encountered error should now be resolved.
