Learn how to set up the Local Workspaces in requestly

Local Workspace in Requestly, like Team Workspace, is a type of workspace. The key difference is that it stores all your data on your local system, allowing it to run fully offline while enhancing privacy. However, it does not support any cloud features, such as cloud sync or collaboration.

Local Workspace is currently in early beta and available only for the API Client. Since it’s still in development, some features may not work as expected.

Known Limitations 🚧

Since Local Workspaces are currently in beta, some features are not yet available:

  • Only API Client is Supported – Local Workspaces are available only for the API Client; other Requestly features are not supported.

  • Importers – Only cURL imports are supported; other import methods are not yet available.

  • Bulk Actions – Actions like bulk delete or bulk move are not supported.

  • Delete Workspace – There is no option to delete a Local Workspace from the UI.

  • Move to Collection – Requests cannot be moved between collections.

  • Collection-Specific Features – Some features around collections are not yet supported in Local Workspaces:

    • Collection Descriptions – You cannot add descriptions to collections.

    • Collection Variables – Variables scoped to collections are not supported.

    • Authorization Headers – Collection-level authorization headers are not available.

We are actively working on improving Local Workspaces and will address these limitations in future updates. If you have any feedback or need support, please reach out to [email protected].
